Krishna is famous all over India with an entire sect of followers. But what do we know about his origins? Was he really a man in the ancient or just another myth?
I think sometimes the question of "what's the exact truth here? who was this person? which details are true or false?" can miss the point of it, a kind of truth there is in stories and myths that's clearer and more present, and not at all less, for not being subjective to certain narrow logical definitions.
True. The thing with Indian folktales and mythologies is that they have been created out of real people and real events/incidents. May be a littkw blown out of proportion for entertainment. Isn't that what we're all doing, too? Now, in the modern times? I feel ancient people all over the world were just as intelligent as us.. it was only in the mediaeval period that people all over went bonkers.
